The Chevrolet Silverado received a slight redesign for the 2012 model year, with Chevy giving the front end a sleek new look and adding new features, including a White Diamond package and optional in-cabin WiFi. The in-cabin WiFi is available on all Silverado models as an optional add-on.

The Silverado still comes in four basic configurations: the standard 1500 model, the 2500 and 3500HD models, and the Hybrid model.

Cab configurations include the classic regular cab, the extended cab and the crew cab — a true four-door model that blends cargo and passenger capacity.

Buyers can choose from four engines on the 2012 Silverado: a 4.3L V6, 4.8L V8, 5.3L V8 or the heavy-duty 6.2L V8.

New colors for the 2012 Silverado include Mocha Steel Metallic, Black Granite Metallic, Graystone Metallic and Silver Ice Metallic. The White Diamond Tricoat color is available on the LT and LTZ crew cab models.

The Jeep Compass is a compact, street-friendly and affordable vehicle. The Dodge Caliber and the Compass share the same chassis, making the Compass a crossover. Even though Jeep designed the Compass to handle paved roads better, it can still traverse off the road well with the optional off-road package’s one inch higher ride height, skid plates and four-wheel-drive.

Five passengers can ride inside the Compass, with all but the driver’s seat able to fold flat to provide additional cargo space if needed. Jeep offers the Compass with two different engines. A 2.0 liter inline four cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower comes standard on two-wheel-drive models. A beefier 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 172 horsepower. Both engines can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission, or an automatic continuous variable transmission. Two-wheel-drive models achieve 28 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city, while four-wheel-drive models achieve only 23 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city.
